Annual Vienna Halloween Parade is this Wednesday evening
October 24, 2009 by Doug Francis · Leave a Comment
Maple Avenue will be closed to traffic around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 28th, 2009.
Why?
It’s the 63rd Annual Vienna, Virginia Halloween Parade!
This parade is full of Marching Bands, Fire Engines, Dancers, Floats and kids… and more kids. One friend who recently moved back to London always commented how “you Americans sure love your fire engines with sirens blazing!”
So be prepared for some noise.
Everyone is invited and the parade usually lasts about 90 minutes to two hours. It all starts down at Berry Street, up Maple Avenue past the Vienna Town Green, and then turns on Center Street and ends in front of Town Hall.
After that, stop in at the Vienna Inn!
