Vienna, VA Holiday Stroll on Church Street | 2009
November 22, 2009 by Doug Francis · 1 Comment
The annual Church Street Holiday Stroll will be held in Vienna, VA on Monday, November 30th from 6 to 9, a much anticipated event for everyone living in Vienna.
This is always a fun evening for everyone to stroll from Lawyers Road to Mill Street where Mayor Seeman will light the Holiday Tree near the Freeman House.
- Santa arrives via firetruck at 6:30
- The tree lighting is scheduled for 6:45
- Santa will greet children at the Freeman House until 8:30
In past years there have been supervised bonfires for toasting marshmallows, apple cider, a petting zoo, the W&OD Caboose has been open, horse drawn carriage rides, and there has been plenty of music.
Merchants along Church Street will be open for shoppers!
This event is sponsored by Historic Vienna, Inc. and the Town of Vienna. It is a free event open to all.

Ya just gotta love the holidays with all the festivities and good cheer spreading all around. I just hope I don’t run into too many grumpy shoppers.
